A FEW WORDS about US
24k Productions is located in the historic Washington D.C. area. The company was started in 1993 by Marco Baynes as an independent record label. The company was started based on the need and want to establish a music company that stood for top quality music. In a city known for its politics rather than its musical talent it was necessary to establish an identity that could accurately portray the DC area's style of music. Out of this 24k Productions was born. 24k productions began working with various artists. Having recently formed the group Deuce4k (now known as Soldiers at War). Deuce4k recorded its first single named "In the Neighborhood" in New York with a well known producer that had done production for artists such as Destiny's Child, Mya and other well known artists. This project lead to many other projects including the formation of a group called Fantsja in 1996 who was featured on several songs to be released from the "WarZone" album by Soldiers At War. Also featured on the album is a local female rap sensation know as "Veita aka Vicious". And her skills are very prevelant in the song "Live or Die (In the City)" where she twists the english language in ways no other female MC can. These and other artists will be featured on many upcoming releases from 24k Productions. Also look for us to be featured on other projects locally and nationally. 24k Productions is well on its way to establishing itself as a well known Music Company that offers top quality music and a wide variety of services. Our mission is to supply the music industry with a diverse supply of music that is entertaining and displays the true feelings of those who produce this music.
